My name is Jean-David Daviet.
I’m a web developer, which means that as part of my job, I create websites from design to deployment. I’ve been doing this for over 10 years now, and I’m lucky enough to be able to combine work and passion. Contrary to popular belief, development is a very creative field. There’s always a way to learn and progress, so vast and fast-moving are the subjects. I enjoy working in the web because it’s a constantly evolving environment that requires us to constantly question the way we operate.
On a more personal note, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, which takes up most of my time outside work.
I love computers in general, and anything to do with them. I’m also very curious and like to learn lots of useful and not-so-useful things about how things work around us. I often have whims that lead me to take a strong and intense interest in a subject for a while and then move on to something else fairly quickly.
I’ve been playing tennis for a few years now, and although I’m a pretty average player, I really enjoy this sport, which requires technique and cardio, and is just great fun to play.
