My name is Jean-David Daviet.
I’m a web developer, which means that as part of my job, I create websites from design to deployment. I’ve been doing this for over 10 years now, and I’m lucky enough to be able to combine work and passion. Contrary to popular belief, development is a very creative field. There’s always a way to learn and progress, so vast and fast-moving are the subjects. I enjoy working in the web because it’s a constantly evolving environment that requires us to constantly question the way we operate.
On a more personal note, I enjoy spending time with my wife and my two children, which takes up most of my time outside work.
I love computers in general, and anything to do with them. I’m also very curious and like to learn lots of useful and not-so-useful things about how things work around us. I often have whims that lead me to take a strong and intense interest in a subject for a while and then move on to something else fairly quickly.
I have been doing strength training for several years, both at the gym and in group classes. It’s important to have a healthy body and to exercise, given how much time I spend sitting down every day.
