I finally took time to add english to my website, in order to publish content in french and translated in english.
Let’s see how it goes. At worst, it makes it more accessible to english users, at best I can manage to edit and publish in both languages ?
No pressure on my part, I think it’s a nice addition to my website.
There are still some rough edges I need to fix, but I got the major part working. It was not easy to manage the template part with the WordPress site editor, but with a little time to adapt it’s ok to use.
- add a switcher to the header
- fix the date on post meta
- check the rss feed is not messed up
- complete the translation of the various pages
